Mission Statement  
     
 

Salt and Light, as a part of Bethel Humanitarian Association, has a mission to help others have a personal, saving relationship with God and to become disciples of Jesus Christ who understand and live the call to be “salt of the earth” and “light of the world”.

As salt, we work to prevent decay in our community by striving to improve disadvantaged children and their families' quality of life through material and educational assistance at the Bethlehem Christian Center and forms of practical evangelism. As light, we seem to guide the lost through emotional and spiritual support rooted in Christian love.

Our projects focus in four main areas:

 
     
 

•  Spiritual – Various forms of evangelism, discipleship programs, etc.
•  Social/Emotional – We actively participate in meeting the dire needs of our community through many forms of practical evangelism such as medical outreach, city clean-up projects, etc.
•  Educational – In order to carry the gospel “to the end of the earth,” part of our vision is to educate Christians in preparation to fill God's call in their lives through a missionary training school.
•  Recreational – Practical evangelism involves sporting events, computer clubs, and other recreational activities.

All of our actions are inspired from Matthew 6:33:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things will also be given to you.”
